I came to Korea in autumn and it was freaking cold, the weather went down to -3 degrees within a day. By the side of Han River, it was colder, and shivering to death because of the wind and open area. You can see that the sky wasn't as bright as it should be. Surprisingly, there are shops and a convenience store around that area (which are on the ship near the coast) so you can enjoy eating, picnicking, and spending time with your family and friends. Also, there is a bike rental shop for those who want to cycle around the park.
Nice park, great place to have a date with the loved ones. Can rent a bicycle..also have a chair facing a huge river to enjoy the sunset. Great experience to ride a hangang ferry tour.
Come here to see the Seoul International Fireworks Festival. There are a lot of people on-site, and most of them have set up tents and picnic mats in designated areas, waiting for the fireworks display. When the fireworks are set off, everyone watches from their respective areas. The fireworks are grand and beautiful. The exit and entrance routes are clear, but they are crowded, so you need to be especially careful. It's worth coming again.
Extremely nice atmosphere. We rented a mat and a small plastic table. I recommend buying drinks and ramen at the 7-11 inside subway bc they charge more at the convenient store at the park. Will go back 💖💖A lot of couples and friend groups 📸
I've been here a couple of times as a tourist. It's beautiful both in the day, but also at night. Regardless, you have many different vibes for many different occasions.Whether alone, as a couple, or as a group of friends, you can rent a bike to cycle up and down the river, rent a mat to sit on the grass, or just walk around and enjoy the river breeze. If you're adventurous, you can emulate what they do on Korean drama, and order takeaway to be delivered here directly. The Han river is probably a signature of coming to Seoul. It's really long, and you'll likely come across many parks being built along the river, each with their own uniqueness. I really like Yeouido, for the size, the convenience, and also how it's very straightforward. That said, it's also the most commercial one around, and more populated with tourists.
