Came here late in the evening with my husband and had an unforgettable time. Overall there weren’t that many people besides the occasional couple and people walking their dogs. The view at the top was beautiful and walking alongside the fortress wall in the dark was great. Walking through an even quieter yet somehow lively nearby neighbourhood on the way down was the perfect conclusion to an already amazing outing.

Very nice to discover in summer early in the morning before the heatwave.From Myeong Dong, it’s very easy to get there by taking line 3 towards Chungmuro (use KakaoMap)Bring a good pair of sneakers for more comfort during the walkFew tourists in the morning, so more pleasant to discover with a superb view from above which overlooks the temple below

Naksan Mountain Hike is one of my favorite in Seoul to start getting in shape. Though it is only.little over 100 meters of altitude gain, it takes 20-25 minutes to get to the summit and you have a fantastic panoramic view of Seoul from the east side. There is Dongdaemun, DDP and Cheonggyecheon within couple of blocks south of the Seoul Wall. Highly recommend t9 start tour Seoul journey. If you do not.like tourists tuen I recommend doing the hike in after 7PM or after the sunset during weeknights!!!

We made our ascent to the Naksan Park from the Dongdaemun station exit 7 (there is another station named Dongdaemun History something and you should not get down there.)We went up along the Seoul city wall which we were told marks the limit of Seoul. Although the steep paths made me out of breath, there was beauty all around and when we reached the park, it was a wow moment.I later saw that the mural village on my places-to-go list was so close but we were going with a group so stopping wouldn't have made sense anyway. Maybe next time

Naksan is a beautiful park. It is a favorite spot for a lot of Korean drama scenes. Rightfully so because it's really big and offers views of the different parts of Seoul.We came here during the day but I bet it's also beautiful at night. There are so many trees that provided shade while we walked from end to end of the park. It took us about two hours occasionally stopping to rest on the gazebos. There are also exercise machines placed throughout the park.

AMAZING ! beautiful mountainous park in the neighborhood. The view is just so breathtaking. It’s a local spot with many residents in the area so be sure to be respectful!There are public exercise equipment and some roads are only for walking, no bikes allowed.
