Such an amazing palace, I love the architecture of both western and Korean buildings. There was a line up to take a photo in the first picture though, was quite hot but at least there is shade. There was live Korean music playing throughout the palace and traditional dancing!

Beautiful area, full of history. We arrived around 10 o'clock in the morning and it was very quiet. We had plenty of time to walk through the gardens, take some pictures and visited most of the area. Next to the entry is a Information center and from there we had a stamp with the Palace in our book. Later, it become crowded and as it was a very nice day a lot of people were enjoying a coffee or a snack in the park. As it is autumn, some of the trees have marvelous red colors in contrast with the green pines. Highly recommended for a 2-3 hours visit (at least).

It was a wonderful place to visit. There were many historical structures, but it was uncrowded, clean, and so beautiful. A person may just wander about and photograph at will. The architecture was both historically interesting, and culturally intriguing. As an unforeseen bonus there were a plethora of flowers blooming from every corner of the place. Yes I loved it, and I would go again tomorrow.
