주도의 온.난대 수종 및 한라산 고산대 희귀수종에 대한 유전자 보전 연구와 한라산의 훼손지 복구를 위한 식물 증식 및 내한성 적응 시험림의 역할도 수행하고 있다.
It is probably the most comfortable path to walk in Jeju. That means it has been used a lot by people. However, there is a comfort that comes from a well-maintained forest. It is comfortable, but it is a walk that allows you to taste a little at a time on the forest path that seems to cover various forests in Jeju. I recommend this to anyone who needs it
I spent a good part of the cool afternoon here at this massive eco forest. There are many different zones, I went to the pond and wild fruit trees zone. There are plenty of different species of birds as well. I particularly enjoyed the breezes that bring the fragrance of the pines.
So I know this place as Halla Eco Forest. Very cool! Bus stop right outside if it and it's next to a horse pasture (no riding though). The forest itself is beautiful. They have some nice hikes. They have a good intentional use of space with plenty of places to rest and just observe the beauty around. We came in summer which was nice but I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in Spring. I wish we had more time to explore!!!! We were tired by the end of our hike though being city folk and all that ^_^
