오름은 주소가 산지로 되어있어, 내비게이션 검색 시 정확한 위치를 알 수 없거나, 주차장이 따로 없는 곳이 많습니다. 또한 일부 오름은 사유지로, 출입이 제한되거나 통제되어있는 곳도 있습니다. 이에, 오름 방문 시에는 사전에 제주관광정보센터(064-740-6000) 등을 통해 정확한 정보를 확인하시고 방문하시기 바랍니다.

고내봉은 애월읍 고내리에 위치한 높이 135m의 작은 화산인 기생화산입니다. 과거에는 봉수가 있어 안전을 위해 활용했고, 현재는 등산으로 건강을 챙겨주는 고마운 곳이기도 합니다다. 주가 되는 망 오름과 서쪽의 방애오름, 남동쪽의 진오름, 남서쪽에 너분오름, 남쪽의 상뒷오름 총 5개의 봉우리로 되어있습니다. 자동차를 이용해 오름 입구까지 갈 수 있어 20분 정도면 정상에 오를 수 있는 산입니다.

A small oreum near Aewol High SchoolThe slope is steepOf the two trails leading to the summit, the path toward Bogwangsa Temple is difficult to pass due to trail maintenance construction as of October 28, 2022.

Gonaebong Observatory is visited by walking in the morning or evening, sometimes twice in the morning and evening. The round trip from home takes about 50 to 60 minutes, making it a perfect uphill climb for exercise. From the entrance to Gonaebong Peak to the top, there are four uphill climbs, which is nice because you can get to the observatory in about 10 minutes. There is a mat from the beginning, so it doesn't get muddy even in rainy weather. It is better to wear regular sneakers rather than hiking shoes.

Go up in the direction of Bogwangsa Temple. The other road is a jungle. Even when coming up by car, come up to Bogwangsa Temple. There is a road to the right of Bogwangsa Temple, and if you go further up, there is a parking lot. If you park your car here and go up, you can be surprised more comfortably. You have to go until you reach the wooden 3rd floor observatory to reach the summit. It was nice that there were few tourists, it was quiet, and there was an observatory with a panoramic view.
