월미바다열차는 인천광역시 중구 월미도와 월미공원 간을 운행하는 관광용 모노레일입니다. 2009 인천세계도시축전을 대비하여 추진된 사업이나, 부실 공사와 사업성 부족 문제로 사업이 표류하여 개통이 연기되다가, 10년 만인 2019년 10월 8일에 개통하였습니다.

It's not cost-effective for paying 8,000 won for a ride. Should I ride it for 3,000 won? I don't think I'll ever ride it again.

Wolmi Sea Train.It's nice to ride it at least once. Reservations can be made up to one day in advance, so if you want to ride on the weekend, make a reservation in advance through the website. There is a 2,000 won discount for the route.

This is a ‘tourist’ monorail that connects Incheon Station and Wolmido. It takes about 25 minutes one way, and since it is not public transportation, there is no transfer. I rode it without much expectation as there were many ups and downs such as being full of deficits and difficulties for a long time, but it was a surprisingly satisfying experience.The Wolmido sea, the unloading of grain, the import and export vehicles filling the port, and the huge grain silos are not common sights, so they were new to me. The section between Wolmi Culture Street Station and Wolmi Park Station has beautiful scenery, so you can enjoy it while standing in front of the door on the right. The door is made of glass, giving an excellent sense of openness. The various explanations given by the commentator who was also on board were interesting and informative. Explanations such as “Decades ago, the sea off Wolmi Island froze due to a cold wave, so people walked all the way to Yeongjong Island.” (No English explanation).There is one bus every 15 minutes, and seats are available only on weekdays and weekend mornings. Due to the nature of the monorail, transportation capacity is limited, and you may have to wait for a ticket on weekend afternoons, so we recommend making a reservation in advance on the website. You can ride back and forth twice a day for 8,000 won for adults, and there is no citizen discount.

Wolmi Sea Train, advance reservation required, you can get on and off the train about twice a day. It's nice to be able to enjoy sightseeing and sightseeing from where you get off and then get back on. If you have a guide on board depending on the time, you can listen to the history first, so please take note of this. Each station has its own theme, so it's a good idea to choose a destination in advance that you can enjoy when you get off.

It was already closed at 1:00 when we went, so we waited for two hours and boarded between 3:30 and 4:00. The children were curious, so I went out and boarded it. I feel that once is enough. You can see the entire Wolmi Island. You can only get off at the station you departed from. However, when I asked if it was just going around the whole area, I got off at Chinatown unconditionally. You have to go down the stairs and get on the other side. If this is the case, I think it would be better to start from there.The kids were very excited, but at the same time they were bored. The 6-year-old boarded and looked at his phone. Can you guess how it feels?If you expect too much, you may be disappointed.If you came to Incheon for an outingIt's good to experience it once.Surprisingly, there are many places to see, so I think traveling by car is a way to see it.

Incheon Station and Wolmi Sea Train boarding area are adjacent. Even though I made a reservation online (8,000 won per person), I still had to wait for over 30 minutes. They say the front train is broken.. The system is not stable.It was nice to have a guide on board and explain that it was the largest painting in the world.
