Hoeryongpo, along with Museom Village (Yeongju) and Hahoe Village (Andong), is a place that winds around the village with sharp curves. Although it is land, the island-like environment has created a unique culture and unique landscape. Museom Village, Hahoe Village, and Hoeryongpo may have similar shapes, but when you actually go there, the scenery within the villages is quite different.Hahoe Village and Museom Village are full of old houses. I feel like I have entered a folk village. Hoeryongpo is not like that. So, other cute contents decorate this village. The most famous thing on Instagram is Pungpungdari. It was said to express water gushing out in a 'pong-pong' pattern, and the name happened to be 'pong-pong bridge'. It is a famous spot on Instagram thanks to its catchy pronunciation and ‘coolness’ with the water in the background. Spring rapeseed is also famous. If you take pictures here in spring, they won't come out so brightly. Although it is not well-known because it is so deep inside, the two maze parks are also fun. One has a low level of difficulty, and the other has a relatively high level of difficulty. It is worth visiting at least once and trying the maze.The village is so large that it takes quite some time to walk around. There are not enough shops or cafes compared to the space. In that respect, I am very glad to see the recently opened cafe ‘Narin’. The exterior is pretty, and the interior is satisfactory.Hoeryongpo Village is actually a rather boring place considering its area. It is not a place with eye-catching scenery or interesting experiences. Still, the scenery varies depending on the season, giving a different feeling, and the scenery where water, bridges, and flower fields come together makes me feel at ease. Hoeryongpo Village is a cute and comfortable place.

I stopped by while passing by and today I crossed the Pungpung Bridge to see the village~^^ It rained while I was walking along the trail, so I crossed the snowy road and entered the village, and there was a cafe.It was raining, so I was trying to get a plastic bag to cover my head, but I am grateful to the village residents who willingly gave me their umbrella, saying it was broken. I couldn't go all the way around the village because of the rain, but I will definitely stop by again next time on a nice day and say hello~♡

It was completely quiet and nice. There was no noise. The scenery was nice. It felt like healing.There are two ways to get to Hoeryongpo.Toward Jangansa Temple where the Hoeryongpo Observatory is located, and to Samgang Tavern... Samgang Tavern is a 3.4km walk away.
