구룡포 일본인 가옥거리는 경상북도 포항시 남구 구룡포읍에 위치한 일제 강점기 시절 일본인들이 살았던 가옥들이 남아있는 거리입니다. 2012년에 테마거리로 조성되었으며, 포항 12경 중 하나로 선정되었습니다.

Mostly closed. But it is a small street with a good sunset view when you climb to the top. Nice stroll along the sea after.

cute little street, fun for a small taste of Japan or if you've seen "when camelia blooms" you 100% should go there!! (the kdrama was filmed here)

The main reason was due to kdrama, but it’s still great sightseeing place. Good to know that Kr still preserves the Japanese houses despite what happened in the past. Not sure was it due to the rain or most shops were closed on Tuesday.

Went here coz I want to see shooting place for drama that I loved very much, "When the Camellia Blooms". Arrived here on weekend noon, around 12.30pm and there were lots of people strolling around. We must park across the streer, there is very big free parking lot but just not enough for everyone. From the entrance gate if we go to the right, we can see Japanese style buildings, cafes. And if we go to the left, we can see Dong-baek restaurant. And if we go up the stairs, we can take pic like the drama's main poster!

It's a beautiful place. The whole place is just like Japan. One of the Korean drama " when the camellia blooms" is shooted over here. So it becomes more attractive to tourists as well as to the Koreans. This place is free. You can visit Guryongpo gwamegi museum as well as Guryongpo national museum and Guryongpo national park. It's a total package. You can also enjoy the Guryongpo beach as well
