It was designated as a Gyeongsangbuk-do monument on October 15, 1986, and changed to a scenic spot on December 26, 2008. It was built in 1768 (44th year of King Yeongjo’s reign) to commemorate the loyalty and academic virtue of Ya-eun Gil-jae, a loyal subject and scholar of the late Goryeo Dynasty. In 1977, Gumi City repaired the building and purified the area. It is a scenic spot with outstanding scenery, with a clear stream flowing in front, a mountain stream, and trees.Chaemijeong is a pavilion building with 3 rooms on the front and 3 rooms on the sides, without walls and with only 16 pillars, with one room in the center and a floor surrounding it on all sides. In Gyeongyeong Station, there are buildings such as Gyeongmogak (敬慕閣), Guinjae (求仁齋), and Monument, where King Sukjong's five famous poems are preserved. After the fall of Goryeo and the opening of Joseon, Giljae received the official position of Taesang Baksa (太常博士), but instead of holding a government position, he returned to his hometown and lived in seclusion, maintaining his fidelity. When he passed away in 1419 (1st year of King Sejong's reign), the country gave him the posthumous title of Chungjeol (忠節).'Chaemi (採薇)' means digging up ferns. When the Yin Dynasty fell and the Zhou Dynasty came into power, Baek Yi, who said he could not serve the new dynasty, went to Suyangsan Mountain and dug up ferns to eat and kept his loyalty to the Yin Dynasty. The name comes from an old saying about homework.

It's at the entrance of Geumosan Mountain...It's small, but it's good to look around for a while on the way up.
