Although a bit of a trek by train, bus, walking, this is an amazing little island with lots to do, explore and eat. Would keep you occupied no matter your age!!If it's just the island you're interested in, you can totally navigate your way here on your own. Though if you're looking into tours (such as those available on Klook) I'd really only book them if you want to explore other attractions in area that aren't on the island itself. Unless your tour package gives you a full day on Nami Island, I wouldn't recommend. You can't possibly enjoy this island to its full extent in only 2 hours, which is what I've seen most tours offer.Though a tour with a bus to take to and from Seoul does give you piece of mind travel wise!!FYI the guy who runs the row boats gives you barely any instruction and then gets annoyed when you can't steer the boat. So only do it if you're confident in rowing. We were supposed to get 30 minutes but he called us in after only 5 and we didn't get our money back 🙄

The island is packed with coffee shops, restaurants, gift shops, resorts, a pool, a post office, art galleries, and endless outdoor activities. There are playgrounds, picnic areas, beautiful trees, fountains, ponds, and even sculptures. With the fall colors just starting to show, the gardens were calm and beautiful, a perfect escape. Despite it being a weekday, the paths were full of people, all snapping photos at the famous filming spots from a popular K-drama. It was a lovely day outdoors, filled with nature, fresh air, and lots of photo!

We come early in the morning and in the transaction from summer to autumn. The weather was nice and don't have a a a lot of people. Manage to take a lot a picture without worrying there will other person in the picture.

Went to this amazing River island that proclaims itself as a republic! It’s well known as the setting for the famous K-Drama series “Winter Sonata.” But even if you don’t follow K-Dramas, there is a lot to see and appreciate about the island! From beautiful pine tree lanes, adorable wildlife and artwork, you will be in for a fun and relaxing time.
