It's so well maintained that it can't be considered free admission. It's a really good place for a leisurely walk for about an hour.

It is an arboretum with very pretty flowers and well-decorated spaces. The hike up was a little difficult because I was pregnant, but it was nice to take a forest bath. The colors of the flowers that are not captured in the photo are a sight to behold. Thank you for decorating it beautifully.

I have now been here twice and both times were really enjoyable. There are an assortment of different trails to walk through depending on one's fitness level (the dirt trails often have more elevation and twists). There is a medicinal herbal garden with many varieties, all with placards listing their information in Korean , but includes their English and Latin names. There is also a functioning Buddhist temple (with monks living on site), multiple observatory points, and a wonderful garden with what seems to be over a hundred different labeled trees, flowers, bushes, shrubs, and so on. There are many beautiful plants to behold. There is even a small bunjae (분재) greenhouse! Most of the trails are formatted to be loops so it's easy to get around. It's a great place to spend the morning before going out to lunch with the family. I will be going a third time, I'm sure.
