Sadly isolated a good 20-30 min walk from the nearest metro station and uphill most of the way. Those with mobility issues are duly warned. Their webpage makes no mention of the free shuttle from Exit 4 (there are no signs in the metro station directing you to it either) however, the shuttle deposits you well below the museum itself so more walking uphill. In summer months this will be a brutal climb in the heat. There is a shuttle from the newer MMCA in Seoul city centre that takes you to the museum itself but it runs infrequently. Needless to say, by the time I finally reached the museum I was in no mood to visit.I would highly recommend you visit the Nam June Paik Art Centre even further south of Seoul which is fully accessible and has welcoming multilingual staff who genuinely care for the welfare of their visitors.

Today is a free entrance (last Wednesday of the month= Culture day), the exhibition on the first floor (Lee Shin Ja, Threadscapes) is really good and the Strolling through Nature: The Dongsan Park Joohwan Collection was ok too. There are 3 MMCA, 1 is opposite the Gyeongbokgung Palace, 2 is inside the Deoksugung, and 3 is at Gwacheon. I take a free shuttle bus at 1st MMCA at 10AM, and the bus stops at Park Hotel to pick up the passenger after an hour arrival to the MMCA Gwacheon at 11AM and I took a last free shuttle bus at 4PM back to Seoul. The children waiting room is good.

Nice gallery. Large exhibitions. Great place to hangout. However the noise from the amusement park across is very loud. It does have a nice sunset view.
