The staff was helpful and the outdoor arboretum is worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood, yet I can't give more than 1 star due to the Botanic Garden (식물원). The collection is underwhelming, there were about 4 butterflies in the butterfly garden, but the absolute worse is the section where birds are being kept in a ridiculously small cages.1. The cages are too small for even a single bird, but multiple birds were cramped inside.2. The cages are bare with no distractions or comfort.3. the cages are placed at a low level, probably for the children to have a look up close, which is a stressful and unnatural condition for birds to live in.What's the educational purpose of birds living in dismal conditions? An educational center shouldn't be displaying such a lack of interest in animal well-being. Disappointing.
