단양 이끼터널은 충청북도 단양군 수양개면에 위치한 아름다운 터널입니다.
이끼터널은 길 양쪽으로 울창하게 자란 나무와 이끼로 인해 마치 동굴 속에 있는 것 같은 신비로운 분위기를 자아냅니다.
이곳은 드라마, 영화, CF 등 다양한 촬영지로도 인기를 얻고 있습니다. 특히 2016년 방영된 드라마 “태후 김만중”에서는 이끼터널이 주요 촬영지로 사용되었습니다.
Like much of Danyang, the road designated as the Danyang Moss Tunnel is another beautiful green space.Kudos to the City of Danyang Marketing Team for turning two moss-covered walls in a small section of road into a tourist destination with some clever signage.The ‘tunnel’ itself is not exactly conducive to walking as there are no sidewalks in that stretch of road. But that has not stopped visits nor visitors loitering long enough in the road while they carve into the walls. Is writing by removing moss considered graffiti 🤔?This area is accessible on foot or by car with parking by the nearby Exhibition Hall. There is a bus stop at the West end of the tunnel, but Google map info on bus the route and frequency does not always align with reality in this part of SK.
On a slightly rainy day, I parked next to it and took a few pictures.It has a nice atmosphere, but it's a shame that a lot of the moss has been damaged.Can't I just look...
I visited moss tunnel on begin of winter. I think this period isn’t moss season. But this moss tunnel isn’t great sightseeing place tho.Just pass here for other sightseeing.
I came here when it was raining in Danyang so the pic was not so good. There is no parking lot but you can park at the exhibition hall just beside this tunnel. You must be careful with the cars coming. Do not forget the most important thing is do not damage the moss. Some ppl just so selfish and wrote their names or wrote anything they like to write damaging this tunnel.
A great place for photoshoot! However, be cautious if you want to take pictures of yourself in the middle of the empty road. There is no parking on this road, so it is suggested to park in a side street nearby. You won't need to edit your photos because mosses and trees forge an ethereal beauty that can be perfectly captured from your smartphone.
