The Jincheon Bell Museum was opened on September 2005 to inform people of the excellent Korean bells and their great artistic value that received recognition from the world through various activities including planning exhibitions and education as well as studying, collecting, exhibiting, and preserving them. The building of the museum is located in the history theme park against the backdrop of scenery of Baekgok Lake and the beautiful park. Two large bells are opened to the public to allow everybody to ring them so the beautiful sound of the bells can be always heard. You can take a look at the Korean bells' history and cultures from the exhibition of Korean Buddhist temple bells ranging from the united Shilla Dynasty and Goryeo Dynasty to the Joseon Dynasty until the modern times in the permanent exhibition hall. You can also find out the production process and scientific secrets of Korean bells through various exhibition data. And various cultural and educational programs including exhibition of bells from the world, educational programs of the museum, the Jucheoljang (casting) training center, and a traditional casting technology as well as special exhibitions of various subjects have been prepared every year. The Jucheoljang (casting) Training Center, opened in June 25, 2013, has the best educational facilities including a laboratory for trainees, a casting room with high-tech facilities, a hall, and a lodgment'Tangible and intangible cultural assets' of Korean Buddhist temple bells coexist in the bell museum. The creative patterns and artistry of the bells was recognized from the world so highly, the ‘Korean Bell’ scientific name was given specially. And peals of the Korean bells have been expressed as 'the sounds that wake your souls and enlighten the world.' because they sound magical due to their own scientific factors in the production method. Therefore, the Jincheon Bell Museum established the Jucheoljang (Casting) Training Center that passes down the casting technology of Jucheoljang who is the National Important Intangible Cultural Asset No. 112 and educate the production process of Korean bells. It is the only multi-cultural space in Korea that you can watch tangible Korean bells and the intangible asset's technology together.

You can see everything there is to see in an hour or two, depending on how much ya read and how long ya linger. There is a little souvenir shop inside. There is a small entry fee. If you're not ready to go home, walk accross the bridge n sit a while at the park, or drive towards the metal circle in the sky, park, and walk up the steps.
