This was a surprise find... we had some time to spare while waiting for our friend and decided to pop into this museum for a quick one since it was free, and we were very very plasantly surprised by how good this museum was because most maritime museums were boring af...There were 3 levels of exhibition on all things maritime, and a special exhibition on fishing when we were there, and as boring as it sounds.. it was actually very well curated and the use of multimedia throughout the exhibition made these topics really interesting. The only downside was that there wasn't a lot of writeups in english, which was a downer but it didn't kill the experience overall.

This place is massive in size. We came with little ones (4 and 2) and overall they had a good time. They do have a designated children's area but didn't have much to offer - some building blocks and a big crane. For adults who are interested in maritime history/info, this place has it all. Big models, historical artifacts, a 4d show. Would recommend. Also it was free in admission.

We went there on a weekend so there’s a lot of people around. It’s also raining but it’s okay since the activities are all indoors. We are amazed to the fact that there is no entrance fee, you can experience that high-tech museum for free. There’s a lot of 3D/4D shows aside from the aquarium inside. Kids do really enjoy the place. And also for us fisheries students from other country.

A good maritime museum that's worth a visit. Allow 2-4 hours to visit most of the indoor displays. There are some outdoors displays but these were not available when I visited. The aquarium is very good, and while not huge, it has lots of different types of fish. The displays have some English descriptions, but most descriptions are in Korean. There is a surround cinema that's also worth a visit, though it may not be suitable for young children. The top level has a cafe. Entry is free, and well worth a visit. You can get to it by bus or car. Thank you.

There are more fun places if you come with children. There were actual submarines and ships, so adults had things to see, but there seemed to be more space for children. It's free and you only have to pay for parking.Unmanned parking is not allowed with an overseas issuance card.I couldn't find a place to pay cash. That part was a little disappointing.
