An Hee-je (安熙濟, August 4, 1885 – August 3, 1943) was a Korean independence activist. The main building is Tamjin. His nickname is Baeksan (白山).A person of merit for independence of the Republic of Korea.Together with Baekbeom (white tiger) Kim Gu and Baekya (white night) Kim Jwa-jin, he was called the Three Baek (三白) and was posthumously awarded the National Foundation Medal of Independence Medal in 1962.Believing that mental and economic self-reliance must be achieved in order to restore national sovereignty, he worked hard to foster education and national enterprises. In addition, he raised funds for the independence movement in connection with the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, while promoting independence ideas through the media and religious movements. .He is also famous as the founder of Baeksan Merchants Association, which provided financial support and secret liaison to the provisional government and other overseas independence movements.Source: Namu Wiki

The feeling of frustration is an honest feeling. It's frustrating because I can't laugh or laugh. It is a history that must be respected, and a memorial to someone who must be respected. There is a new small souvenir corner.

A fascinating story of a man who opposed the Japanese occupation and did great things for education. When I went there was a historian volunteer who told us all about him in English. She was very knowledgable and friendly. Otherwise, everything is in Korean but google translate lens worked fine to read everything except the handwritten poems.
