I visited because it was meaningful to me that it was in the exact center of Korea, but since it was open from 2pm, I could only guess the exact center location using the map created outside.

Watching videos while lying down was a new experience, but there seems to be not much to do other than watching videos. If you purchase an admission ticket, you will receive a two-way gift certificate, but the admission ticket feels a bit expensive.

It is marked as the exact center of South Korea (South and North Korea). It was a simple but rewarding visit. In the garden of the observatory's main building, a large pendulum shows the exact center of the country. You can watch a 15-minute IMAX video, and an astronomical telescope is also available, so it's meaningful to take a quick look around.

Just watching it doesn't mean much, and it's fun to go according to the exhibition commentary/observation program time listed on the website. In particular, I think the night observation program that starts at 9 and 10 p.m. is the highlight. Before the observation, videos related to seasonal constellations are shown in the astronomical projection room, so even if you do not have background knowledge about stars, you will not be disappointed when observing at night. And the night observation was fun because the conductor explained it in a witty and kind manner. It's also good to take kids. Lovers can come too. I think this is the best cost-effective experience program that can be experienced for just 2,000 won per person.Reservations can only be made by phone. When applying for night observation, checking the weather is essential.
