The parking lot is free and the air is good, so it's great for a quick stop while passing through Chuncheon.

I stopped by Kim Yu-jeong Literature Village on my way to Kim Yu-jeong Station to take the subway from Chuncheon! It's a great place to take a walk with kids.It would be nice to have a more enjoyable experience because I was able to experience it ^^See you soon~~~This is a literary space created in his hometown, Sile Village, to publicize the literary achievements of Korea's representative short story writer Kim Yu-jeong (金裕貞, 1908-1937) and to inherit his literary spirit.Kim Yu-jeong used what she witnessed in Sile Village as the subject matter of her first work, , and conceived several works here, and made real people from the village appear in the works.A literary trail has been created throughout the village to tour the place names that appear in the work, and the author's birthplace, a literary exhibition hall, a cowshed, a treadmill, a rest pavilion, and a pond, etc. have been restored to their original appearance. Every year, various literary festivals and seminars are held here, including the Kim Yu-jeong Memorial Service, and various programs using motifs from the works are operated. The exhibition hall is closed every Monday and the day after public holidays, and is available for free.Operating hours are 9:30 to 17:00 in the winter and 9:00 to 18:00 in the summer.Nearby are tourist attractions such as Bonghwasan Mountain, Gubongsan Mountain, Soyangho Lake, Jeokseokchong Tomb, and Chunseong Jeungni Ancient Tombs.

Nice little area with some traditional looking buildings of modern construction and a nice old traditional style home fixed up. Can rent traditional clothes for pictures, make pottery, tour a literature museum or paint some crafts.

Very interesting place, lots of attractions and restaurants nearby, as well as the rail-bike. Unfortunately, I don't think much (if any) information is available in English, so if your Korean isn't great it would be a good idea to bring a friend. :)
