It's a place with an interesting story about the pond, and since it's located in the city center, it was a good place to stop by and take a look. However, if you want to park, it is more convenient to use the paid parking lot on the street.

The starting point of the Nakdong River. This is a place you must visit and teach your children educationally.

This pond is so deep it makes you want to jump in it but please don't because they don't know how deep it is.( It can be very dangerous.) It is so amazing how this little pond can produce so much water. One of the entrance has a folktales about how this pond was created with little statutes. I wish it was written in English as well as Korean. But the little statutes are well made for anyone to understand easily which is very impressive. The story is a mink came to ask for some food at the richest person, Mr. Hwang, in town. Mr. Hwang was mean Anna he gave poop to the monk. The daughter in law saw this and gave monk some rice. The monk appreciated her kindness and advised her to leave this house with him because he sees karma will get Mr. Hwang as the monk leaves. The monk warns the daughter in law not to look back whatever happens. So the daughter in law decides to leave and as she and the monk leaves the house sunk into the earth making a huge noise. She turned around to see what happened and became a rock. They explained where the rock is but I didn't have enough time to check it out. So sad...Anyways, back to reality ;)At the moment, this area is being expanded. So I'm sure it'll look even better after all the construction is completed.

It's always good here. It has been revamped sometime within the last 5 years. And during the summer festival the pond itself has lights crisscrossing over it. Why not.
