덕동계곡은 충청북도 제천시에 위치한 아름다운 계곡입니다.
백운산 남쪽 기슭인 백운천 상류에 펼쳐진 덕동계곡은 덕동리 마을에 위치하여 덕동계곡이라 부르게 되었습니다. 덕동계곡은 백운산[1,087m] 동남쪽의 구학산[971m], 서남쪽의 십자봉[984.8m] 및 옥녀봉[730m]등과 이어져 U자형의 능선을 이루고 있습니다. 덕동계곡은 1990년 3월 21일에 발표된 제천군 조례 제664호에 의거하여 1990년 10월 25일에 자연 발생 유원지로 지정되었으며, 덕동리 마을 노인회에서 위탁 관리하고 있습니다. 여름철에는 입장료를 받고 있습니다.

덕동계곡은 계곡 주변의 주민들에 의해 일체의 어로행위와 취사, 야영등을 금지하고 있습니다. 덕동계곡은 백운산에서 발원하여 원덕동까지 5㎞에 걸쳐 흐르는 계곡입니다. 덕동계곡은 맑은 물과 울창한 숲으로 유명하며, 여름철에는 피서객들이 많이 찾는 곳입니다. 덕동계곡에서는 캠핑, 낚시, 트레킹 등 다양한 레저 활동을 즐길 수 있습니다.

#Family #Valley recommended for campingThis valley is a 10-minute drive from Baekun-myeon. It's not a place that many people visit even during the vacation season, so it's a place where you can feel some seclusion. At the end of the mountain path, there is a small parking lot, a small supermarket, a restaurant, and a clean public restroom.The valley water is clear and cold. The depth of the water was generally about a foot to a leg for an adult male, and in some places where the current was strong and narrow, it was a little over 1.5m. It is suitable for children to play in the water, and you can camp in the open air near a dirt road with a public restroom. Cooking is available, and of course there is a camping site.

Even though I went in mid-August, it was very cold.The water is clean and good for swimming, but the water volume is low.In places that are too deep for adults to play, you have to move along the waterway.There are sometimes places to spread out mats or chairs, so get there early and get a seat.I think it would be easy to play.There are portable toilets, but no showers or other amenities.
