초정행궁은 조선 세종대왕이 눈병 치료를 위해 행차했던 곳으로 전해지는 행궁입니다.

-역사
초정행궁은 세종 14년(1432년)에 처음 세워졌으며, 이후 세종대왕은 1444년까지 총 9번이나 이곳을 행차했습니다. 초정행궁에는 세종대왕이 행차했던 당시의 모습을 엿볼 수 있는 다양한 유적들이 남아있습니다.

초정행궁의 주요 시설로는 편전, 침전, 수라간, 행랑채 등이 있습니다. 편전은 세종대왕이 행차했을 때 머무셨던 곳이며, 침전은 왕비가 머무셨던 곳입니다. 수라간은 행궁에서 사용하던 음식을 조리하던 곳이며, 행랑채는 종친과 신하들이 머무셨던 곳입니다.

It's nice to take a walk. I think it would be nice to stop by after taking a bath in the ultra-pure water. The interior facilities are poorly completed and feel small.

While watching Solo, I heard that Chojang Temporary Palace was restored in my hometown, Cheongju. To be honest, it is as good as Jeonju Hanok Village in terms of mountain setting and appearance, but there is no infrastructure yet, so the place is not being used properly. I don't know if there was someone in charge of the facility or if it was neglect, but the foot bath area was so dirty that I didn't want to go in at all. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place and a sacred place where Chojeong carbonated products are produced, so please preserve it well. Don't focus too much on commercials, but promote and develop in a practical way.

It was discovered about 600 years ago and is known as one of the world's three major mineral waters.《Dongguk Yeoji Seungnam》 records that Chojeong-ri spring water has a pepper-like pungent taste, and that taking a bath in cold water can cure diseases.It is said that King Sejong of Joseon came to Chojeong-ri to treat eye disease and stayed for about 121 days.At the time, there was a temporary palace where King Sejong stayed, but it was destroyed by fire and Chojeong Cultural Park was created in its place.

The inside of Chojeong Haenggung Palace looks like a small Hanok village, and you can experience food such as Cheongju side dishes, a healing meal for King Sejong, and traditional games, as well as lodging. Overall, it has a park feel, so it is suitable for light travel. It is newly built, so the facilities are clean.
