It was a cold day, but once I went inside, the warm air flowed and it was nice to look around. It was really amazing that this cave was made artificially.During the Japanese colonial period, it was plundered by the Japanese, and during the 625 War, it was used as an air-raid shelter...After the war, it was used as a shrimp paste cave...A cave with various histories...As a wine cellar...Anyway, it was a good sight to see.

I was living in Seoul. It was okay to go there. It's okay to see Gwangmyeong Cave. I think it's okay to visit a cave once. I came with my family, lover, and friends and looked around. There were stairs. I got to exercise for a while and it was okay.

Tickets:You can buy them online on their website or in person at the KIOSK. However, the KIOSK only accepts Korean credit/debit cards. NO foreign credit cards. So if you are foreigner, getting tickets online in advance is a good idea.Experience:Overall experience was great! The cave the lights was awesome! And they also had live music playing when I went there because of the lights festival that weekend. This cave place is also kid friendly with an aquarium section of fish etc etc.

Went there as part of day trip after Hwadam Botanic Gardens. It was nice experience, especially the wine restaurant. If you have time, you can sit there for nice time of drinking. It was chilly in November. Bring a thick jacket.

Beautiful cave that has been repurposed as a tourist attraction. The lighter and effects are beautiful. Nice to spend a couple of hours to explore and learn the history and take great shots

A humbling experience. Lots of history to learn, and it's not all pleasant but necessary. It's a beautiful place. It was nice to be in the cave and away from the humidity where you hardly felt it at allThings to be aware of:-This is outside of Seoul, so there isn't a lot of English.-They have a ticket office there so you can buy tickets there.-It was just easier for us to catch a taxi there and back from the airport there and bus back to Seoul.- Stairs. Be prepared to walk many stairs!- There are a lot of protections in place, but good non-slip shoes can help you feel safer because some of the stairs were wet.

Very amazing audio-visual experience, recommended. During summer there is nice cool air inside too. You can buy "cave wine" as well.
