Thankfully there was no wait time at all when I went during a weekday night. Access was easy. You just need to scan the code and enter directly. They have a separate entry point for pre-booked tickets. The views from the tower are absolutely beautiful.

I visited Seoul Sky on a Sunday afternoon, and as expected, it was quite packed, and I had to wait about an hour to take the elevator . However, it was worth waiting for because the night view was absolutely breathtaking. The elevator took us to the 117 floor in 1 minute, and I didn't feel any pressure whatsoever. From the 117 floor to 122 floor, there are observation decks, coffeeshops, and photo zones. Enjoying a coffee in the Sky was a nice experience, too. The elevator took us down from the 120 floor in one minute, also without feeling any pressure. Even if it was crowded, I enjoyed every minute of it.

Lotte World Tower is the tallest building in Korea, and as of this post, it is the 6th tallest in the world. Seoul Sky is the name of the observation deck, which features 360 degree panoramic views. You can buy tickets at the ticket desk when you arrive. However, during busy times, you might want to reserve your tickets in advance. Check website for details. The elevator ride features projection screens on the walls that showcase the history of the city while you soar up the building at blistering speeds. There is an indoor 360 degree viewing area, and a small outdoor viewing terrace 2 floors up. A few other reviews mention that this feels like a standard observation deck that you can find in any skyscraper. I agree, it does feel like a typical observation deck. But every city is different, and this deck overlooks the remarkable city of Seoul. I recommend this attraction if you like good views, as you really cannot get this perspective of Seoul from anywhere else! If you want a thrill, you can walk onto the glass floor section, where you can look straight down the side of the building to the ground 500 meters below!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Seoul Sky at night, and I must say, the views were absolutely breathtaking. From the observation deck, the sprawling cityscape of Seoul glimmered with countless lights, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere that felt almost magical. It was a perfect night to take in the stunning skyline, and I found myself captivated by the beauty of the city illuminated against the dark sky. However, while the view was indeed remarkable, my overall experience was somewhat mixed. The environment felt a bit crowded, and I expected a little more in terms of engagement and activities. For such a renowned attraction, I anticipated some unique features or interactive elements that would elevate the experience. Instead, it felt more like a standard observation deck without any standout highlights. That said, if you are a fan of breathtaking views and photography, Seoul Sky is definitely worth a visit. The panoramic sights are perfect for capturing memorable moments. I would recommend visiting during sunset for a truly picturesque experience, as the transition from day to night is simply stunning. In conclusion, while the view at Seoul Sky was beautiful and worth seeing, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. It’s a nice stop on your Seoul itinerary, but don’t expect too much beyond the incredible scenery. I would suggest checking it out if you have the time, but keep your expectations in check."
