The beach is clear green and blue, very nice for taking a pictures and playing in the water. The water is quite cold. There are many coffee shops and gift shops but not many choices of restaurants for foods, found a good one after walking for a while thru the alley.

Please note that I live in Costa Rica and am blessed with amazing reefs steps from my house, when I say I was disappointed with the snoring here BUT I loved the rest of it. Snorkeling equipment, super cheap to rent as was the umbrella - all day for about $20 with a mat over the sand to lay on. Plenty of lunch eateries in the area if you don't feel like packing a picnic. The best part is the water! Very clear! Can easily see yourself while swimming, but it's a small beach and can get a little crowded. There were some surf classes that would at times bump into swimmers.
