슬도등대는 울산광역시 동구 성끝길 122 (방어동)에 위치한 등대입니다. 방어진항을 출입하는 선박의 안전을 위해 설치된 등대로, 울산광역시 유형문화재 제314호로 지정되어 있습니다.

슬도등대는 1958년에 세워졌으며, 백색 원형 철근 콘크리트 구조의 등탑입니다. 높이는 10.8m이며, 붉은 빛의 렌즈를 사용합니다. 등대의 불빛은 15초에 한 번씩 깜빡이며, 10해리(18.5km)까지 비추입니다.

슬도등대는 울산의 대표적인 관광 명소 중 하나입니다. 등대 주변에는 방파제와 갯바위가 있어, 다양한 볼거리와 즐길 거리를 제공합니다. 또한, 해돋이 명소로도 유명하여, 새해 첫날이 되면 많은 사람들이 슬도등대에 방문하여 해돋이를 감상합니다.

It is a good breakwater to stop by after seeing Daewangam Hermitage.The parking lot is somewhat small and may be difficult to enter.Before entering Seuldo, there is a public parking lot under the mountain behind the Suhyup Commission building. You can also park there and walk a little.And during the day, you can also park along the sea line in front of the Suhyup Commission building.

We went on a windy day but even then the view was sensational, utterly beautiful. They have a little museum where you can try out some art on whales, take pictures and try a stringed digital instrument, or go all the way to the roof of the museum to soak in some of the views from there before heading back down towards the lighthouse, spending some time on the rocks near there, the lighthouse is unmanned so there's no way to go all the way inside and up, but you can definitely still have a wholesome full experience of the area, there is another tiny lighthouse not too far form the main attraction worth a look before heading back to spend some time at the cafe within the museum for a relaxing afternoon with the sound of waves

It used to be an island close to the city of Byeonjin, but now it is connected by a bridge. It is a good place to take a walk and wind down.

Its a nice place for a walk, not to crowded some restaurants and cafes on the walk leading to the start of the path to the lighthouse.

Nice for an evening or night walk. Serene place with stillness broken by the sound of waves so soothing to be there. Anglers idling around in a long line hardly seen any big success but are there for the fun of it. There are coffee shops near by and traditional snacks for a bite or two. Overall a good place to walk n unwind a boon for the residents.
