고운 비단을 뜻하는 사라봉은 제주에서 가장 아름다운 열 곳을 선정한 영주십경 중 사봉낙조에 해당하는 오름이다. 사봉낙조는 사라봉에서 지는 붉은 노을을 의미한다.
오름의 형태는 북서쪽으로 벌어진 말굽형 화구로서 붉은 송이로 구성된 기생 화산이며 전체적으로 해송이 가득하다. 사라봉 남쪽에는 모충사가 있고 동쪽에는 별도봉이 연봉을 이루고 있으며, 산 일대는 공원으로 지정되어 있다.

오름은 주소가 산지로 되어있어, 내비게이션 검색 시 정확한 위치를 알 수 없거나, 주차장이 따로 없는 곳이 많습니다. 또한 일부 오름은 사유지로, 출입이 제한되거나 통제되어있는 곳도 있다.
오름 방문 시에는 사전에 제주관광정보센터(064-740-6000) 등을 통해 정확한 정보를 확인하시고 방문하시기를 권장

This is an observatory that overlooks Jeju International Airport and Jeju Passenger Terminal. At Jeongsan Mountain, there is an octagonal observatory where you can relax and view the sea, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom around the summit, making for a beautiful view.It's not a tourist destination, but it's worth a quick stop. At the top, there is a well-preserved beacon mound from the Joseon Dynasty, and caves used by the Japanese military during Japanese occupation are scattered in various places.It's great for a walk in less than an hour round trip.

I didn't have time, so I only went to Sarabong, but the stairs at the beginning were a bit out of breath. After the stairs, there were rabbits on the dirt road, and I felt healed while going up.Everyone must have eaten well, and the rabbit's fur was shiny and pretty.You can see the airport from afar from the top, and the parking lot is right in front of the entrance.

Sarabong was good, but it was nothing compared to Byeoldobong.It was nice to be able to complete both peaks in one day since they were separate peaks.

I went to Sarabong + Byeolbyeolbong.There are few people and the scenery is good.You can even see rabbits at the top of Sarabong!

A good place to walk and exerciseIf you go to Byeolbong and Sarabong, it takes an hour, so it's perfect
