An exhibition of this quality is free! A place where you feel proud as a citizen of Seoul. Every exhibition is really good and I am satisfied with both the permanent and special exhibits!

If you love museums, art galleries..then please make sure you visit them. There’s a lot of museums in Seoul that are really pretty and amazing. This one is nearby to Deoksugung Palace, if you walk through the wall street then you’ll stumble into this museum. It’s free so you don’t have to pay for any tickets to enter. There’s a cafe as well in the museum. I almost spent 2 hours in this museum. All of the artists they showcase are Koreans, it’s an eye opening experience to look at their own local artists.

staff were very nice dealing with my broken korean/english, the paid exhibit wasn’t too bad price-wise (i think 12,000?14,000?) i came on a thursday around 11:30 and it was actually fairly crowded so i recommend buying tickets ahead of time, but i still didn’t have to wait in line, but i know there was a line when i left in the afternoon, i paid for the audio guide (i can’t remember how much it was unfortunately, but it was cheap) overall a decent visit if you like a variety of art

The free part of Museum is small —only part of the second floor. The current exhibition on Edward Hopper requires ticket and so do other sections of the museum. The park in front is a nice visit

The museum has 3 floors with around 2 art exhibits on each floor. It also has different facilities like toilets, souvenir shops, seating areas. The museum is clean but relatively small.I went on a Sunday morning, where there was a decent amount of people (short lines for the ticketing booths). The art exhibits were interesting, but quite small. No photos are allowed inside the galleries. It is a nice museum to visit for around 1-2 hours. However, it is important to note that there are very very few free exhibits. If you plan to go, you should expect to pay for the entrance ticket, which costs around KRW 17,000/person.
