The road is filled with picturesque traditional Korean houses and was really interesting to see and quite different from the rest of the city. The area is residential so you'll have to be quiet. It is one of the main tourist attractions in Seoul and so it gets quite crowded with people who are either visiting it or coming back from the palace.

A beautiful setting in Seoul. Also a must-visit, especially if you’re a first-timer in the city. Tourists can simply roam around and appreciate the beauty of the traditional houses, rent a hanbok, and strike a post for a photo session. We went on a weekday morning and most cafés were closed. Take note that there are also paths that are elevated so get your legs ready.😊

9 Oct 2023:A nice place with beautiful architecture but definitely with quite a number of tourists as well. There are many beautiful cafes to chill out and relax. The view is nice especially when it's getting towards sunset. We tried getting to the top to get the highest view, but it seems some of the places requires an "entrance fee", and since we didn't want to pay just to take a few photos, we didn't enter, instead we just roamed around the streets, which I think is beautiful enough.

I really like the atmosphere here, it has a very relaxed and comfortable feel. It is basically a residential area, so need be respectful and quiet around the area. The attractions generally open around 9am, but you can politely walk around. There are a lot of hills though, so you need to be prepared. You can see Namsan Tower in the distance here. This would have been a great place to appreciate Korean culture, but there were too many tourists. It's hard to take a decent photo.

The route where the houses are is actually somewhat overrated, in my opinion. Though very picturesque. It does get very busy, if you are planning to take lots of photos then i recommend getting there earlier. I think you can only explore the street freely from 10-5pm.The surround area is really nice. There are some trendy cafes and bars worth visiting. A nice place to walk around and take in the atmosphere.
